The Youth at St. Augustine’s have great opportunities to learn about God’s amazing love, to serve in a church family that embraces and supports diversity and compassion, and to have fun within a community of other young people who are on their own spiritual journeys.
This year our youth grades 5-12 will be using a new curriculum, Re:form. With the re:form session videos, youth encounter a question from the historic Christian faith through creative, provocative humor, illustrations and animation.
Each question is presented in simple terms to encourage exploration and discovery. We especially love the way the lessons encourage questioning one’s faith! Young people are full of questions– this allows each to come to their own answers.
In August our Teens went on Pilgrimage to the heart of Anglicanism: England! While touring the holy sites and cathedrals at London, Canterbury, Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Glastonbury the group was impressed with the rich history of the Episcopal Church and the beauty of this country.
