FOCUS
National Native American Heritage Month
What is our work as Episcopalians?
The Office of Indigenous Ministries celebrates the longstanding presence and influence of Native Americans throughout the history of The Episcopal Church.
Exercising a deep spirituality grounded in respect for and care of creation and others, Indigenous Episcopalians enrich the church through myriad roles in lay and ordained ministry, modeling wisdom, resilience, and forbearance.
Indigenous Ministries works for the full inclusion of Indigenous people in the life and leadership of the church.
We acknowledge the Coast Salish and all Indigenous Peoples. This building and facilities stand on the traditional land of the people, whose ancestors have resided here since time immemorial. We honor and thank them for their culture, resilience, and indigenous identity.

Who We Are
At St. Augustine’s, our shared worship is at the center of our community life. Our services follow many of the worship traditions and seasons of the liturgical year. For newcomers, some elements of our worship might seem confusing. The most important thing to remember is that ALL are welcome here and you can’t do anything wrong! We are just happy you are here!
